Vogue puts online more than 100 years of fashion history through its archives.
Everybody can look for Models, photographers, brands, personality searching in the Voguepedia, a sort of fashion encyclopedia that relates the history and the “selected apparances” of the subject.
Naturally archives are the way to go deeper in your search …and it’s not for free. A special access to the fashion bible it cost 1575 $

Stanley Kubrick’s New York photos
Before becoming the great filmmaker that he was, Kubrick worked as a photojournalist for, Look magazine. He took black and white photos of NYC in the 1940′s. They were usually shot on the sly; with his camera concealed in a paper bag, with a hole in it – hint at the dark beauty and psychological drama of his later creative images
“Now, for the first time, fine art prints of Kubrick’s work as a photojournalist are available for sale. Previously only available for viewing in museum archives or in books about Kubrick, curators at the Museum of the City of New York and art advisors at VandM examined over 10,000 negatives of Kubrick’s photos to hand select 25 for this limited edition sale on VandM.” VandM

Technobohemian by John Malkovich
John Malkovich a inauguré Lundi une “boutique éphémère” à Paris.
La boutique est celle de Opificio JM , un concept store italien qui vend en exclusivité la collection technobohemain by John Malkovich et bien d’autres produits et marques de l’artisanat “made in italy”. On y retrouve de la maroquinerie de Toscane, des parfums, des chaussures et une épicerie fines …bref un endroit de prédilection pour qui aime le bon gout et la qualité.
“Éphémère” est plutôt la collection de Malkovich que sera disponible en magasin jusqu’au 24 décembre, pendant les répétitions du spectacle “Liaisons dangereuse” que l’acteur a mis en scène.
